How automatic language detection works
Whisper large-v3-turbo identifies your language from the first few words of audio. You can also pin a specific language in the tray menu for faster startup when you always dictate in the same language.
Speak in one language, type in another
Lazytype's translation mode lets you dictate in your native language and have the text typed in a different one — useful for non-native writers, international teams, and multilingual workflows. Enable it in the tray menu.
